Enabling Automatic End date Renewal for S5 Keys and S50 Key fobs
This section describes how to enable automatic end date renewal for S5 Keys and S50 Key fobs in iLOQ 5 Series Manager.
Proceed as follows.
- Start adding a key or Key fob, as instructed in Adding S5 Keys or Adding S50 Key fobs.
- When you reach the step where you define End date automatic renewal settings, select Automatic renewal of end date in use.
- Define the time window when the New expiration date is available, for example, three hours before the expiry date of the current period.

Define The end date is increased value, that is, the renewal period.
The options are:
- Days — If you select days, the key end date can be automatically postponed on a daily basis. Use The end date is increased by setting to define the key validity duration. For example, if you use value 3, the key end date is postponed for three days at a time.
- Weeks — If you select weeks, the key end date can be automatically postponed on a weekly basis. Use The end date is increased by setting to define the key validity duration. For example, if you use value 1, the key end date is postponed for one week at a time.

Define when Renewal period ends by setting the end date
and time.
After the renewal ends, this setting is not valid any longer.
- If you are creating a new key, program the key. If you are updating an existing key, order the key, or order and program it.
