Keys

Keys refer to the keys in the locking system.

There are two types of keys in the locking system:

• Phone Keys. You can manage access credentials for Phone Keys over the air, as phones are online devices connected to the iLOQ Cloud over the mobile network.

• Key Fobs. With Key Fobs, remote connection to iLOQ Cloud is not directly possible, as Key Fobs are offline devices by default. However, you can manage access credentials for the Key Fobs remotely over the air through the FobApp mobile application, which uses a mobile phone as a bridge between the Key Fob and iLOQ Cloud. The connection between the Key Fob and the phone is established over BLE.
