Door Module N502
The Door Module is a bus device installed in the vicinity of a door. The module controls devices installed in the door, such as lock cylinders, RFID readers, electronic locks, electric strike plates, magnetic locks, etc.
The Net Bridge acts as the host for the Door Module; it does not work independently. The Door Module has several different use cases and can be used with or without programming, as needed.
The most common use cases:
- Connecting the lock cylinder to a remote control system.
- Electronic lock calendar control.
- Electronic lock control with RFID reader.
- Alarm system control with key reader.
- Alarm system control with RFID reader.
- Electronic lock control with an RFID key and PIN code.
- Electronic lock control with a code.
The Door Module is intended for installation in dry indoor air conditions. If the Door Module needs to be installed outdoors, for example to control a gate, make sure the module is not exposed to rain.
