Bus Addresses and Bus Termination

Each device connected to the main bus must have its own unique bus address. There is only one bus on the Net Bridge, even if the bus is branched. The Net Bridge allocates bus addresses automatically. If you have a device where the bus address can be set with fixed dip switches, you can ignore them.

If the bus does not continue to the next device, terminate the last door module or I/O card on the bus or branch by switching termination ON. To set the termination, press the TE/TEST button until the TERM indicator lights up. If there are multiple branches in the bus, terminate the last device in each branch.
