Adding Administrative User Credentials
This section describes how to add administrative user credentials to iLOQ Locking System.
Create the administrative user credentials below:
- One set of user credentials for yourself.
- One set of user credentials for the customer.
- Keep the Admin user credentials as the root user credentials.
Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Proceed as follows.

Select Add user.
The Adding a user ID wizard is opened.
- Select Add user ID with a token.
- Click Next.
- Select Add new person with user ID
- Click Next.
- Enter the First name and the Last name of the administrative user.
- Click Next.
- Select the token.
- Click Next.

Enter a User-ID and a password for the administrative
user.
The password requirements are:
- The password minimum length can be defined in system settings by the Administrative user.
- The last six passwords must not be re-used.
- The password must not contain the user ID.
- The password must have at least one Latin uppercase letter (A—Z).
- The password must have at least one Latin lowercase letter (a—z).
- The password must have at least one number (0—9).
- Click Next.
- Select the Administrator user role from the User rights template drop-down list.
- Click Next.
- A summary window is displayed.
- Click Ready.
- Click Close.
- Log out of iLOQ 5 Series Manager.
- Place the Programming key into the Programming Adapter and connect the token to the USB cable inside the adapter.
- Login to iLOQ 5 Series Manager with the newly created user credentials.
