Adding Additional Programming keys and Attaching them to Users

This section describes how to add additional Programming keys to iLOQ Locking System, and how to attach them to users.

Note:

If you are adding the first Programming key, proceed as instructed in section Adding the First Programming key and Attaching It to a User.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Browse tokens.

  2. Select Add token.
    The Adding a Token wizard is opened.
  3. Select Add token and attach it to user.
  4. Name the Programming key.
    Tip:

    You can name the Programming keys, for example, according to their label and owner. In this way, it is easy to identify the owner of the Programming key.

  5. Select Active.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select the desired user.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select the usage rights for the user.

    You can manage the selection of usage rights with the arrow buttons as follows:

    • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the list.
    • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the list.
    • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the list.
    • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the list.
  10. Click Next.
  11. A summary window is displayed.
  12. Click Ready.
  13. Place the empty Programming key against the connected Programming Adapter, to its designated place.

    Wait until the Programming key has been programmed.

  14. A summary window is displayed.
  15. Click Close.

    You can view the Programming key in the Browse tokens list.
