Adding User IDs with a Programming key
This section describes how to add a user ID with a Programming key to iLOQ Locking System.
Proceed as follows.

Select Add user.
The Adding a user ID wizard is opened.
- Select Add user ID with a token.

Select one of the options below:
- Add a user ID for a person — Select Add a user ID for a person if you want to add a user ID for an existing person in the system.
- Add a new person with a user ID — Select Add a new person with a user ID if you want to add a user ID for a new person that will be created along the user ID addition procedure.

Depending on the choice you made in the previous step, proceed as
follows:
- Select the person for whom you want to add the user ID, if you selected Add a user ID for a person in the previous step.
- Enter the first and last name of the new person, if you selected Add a new person with a user ID in the previous step.
- Click Next.
- Select a Programming key for the user in the Token drop-down menu.
- Click Next.

Enter information for the user ID, as follows:

User-ID — Enter a name for the new user ID in this field. The user ID is not case-sensitive. There are no minimum requirements for the user ID.

Authentication type — If Azure Active Directory single sign-on (SSO) authentication method is in use, select the Azure AD option.

Password — Enter a password for the new user ID in this field. The password is case-sensitive.
The password requirements are:
- The password minimum length can be defined in system settings by the Administrative user.
- The last six passwords must not be re-used.
- The password must not contain the user ID.
- The password must have at least one Latin uppercase letter (A—Z).
- The password must have at least one Latin lowercase letter (a—z).
- The password must have at least one number (0—9).

Retype password — Retype the password in this field.

User must change password at next logon — If you select this check box, the user must change his/her password at the next login.

Password expires — If you select this check box, the password expires when the system default expiration period has expired.

Account expiration date — If you select this check box, enter an expiration date for the user ID.

- Click Next.

Select the User rights template, or the individual usage rights to be added for the user.
- — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the list.
- — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the list.
- — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the list.
- — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the list.
- Click Next.
- A summary window is displayed.
- Click Ready.
- Click Close.
