Developing modern reporting practices

At iLOQ, we are not happy with simply complying with all the regulations governing our business. We want to do more than just what is required. We want to do better.

This is why iLOQ embarked on a software development project in 2021 in co-operation with Snowfox to develop a new digital tool. We wanted a solution that would allow us to monitor and report actual emissions resulting from manufacturing and assembly in real time. The solution already delivers reliable and accurate data about the GHG emissions from each of our component suppliers, based on local industry averages and accepted calculation formulas. This gives us an almost real-time estimate based on verifiable 3rd-party data as required.

However, this on-going project is far from complete. Work will continue on refining data collection and reporting until we are able to see more actual data based on on-site performance (not industry estimations) and calculate the real emissions equivalent for the manufacturing, installation and transportation of each and every individual component.
