About the project
In the past, NEOBO had been using ordinary physical locks. This meant that residents needed to have many keys to access different parts of the building. Repairs were costly when keys were lost, and access management was complex and time-consuming.
The solution
Today, NEOBO is using iLOQ’s smart-locking system that enables residents to access all necessary areas of the property using just one digital key. If a key is lost, it can be remotely blocked, and if a resident or sub-contractor needs additional access rights, they can also be given remotely. Management of keys and their access rights using iLOQ’s software platform makes day-to-day work smoother.
With both keys and cylinders being completely battery-free, the solution is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. Battery-free operation also reduces the need for maintenance and replacements, resulting in significant cost savings in the long run.
iLOQ’s own application offers residents an easy way, for example, to reserve the laundry room for their own use or to open the main door remotely if they are expecting a delivery or friends.

Traceability
Log data can be collected from each individual lock. If there is a security breach, locking system administrators can see what locks have been used, when and with which key. This helps to prevent or solve instances of misuse or unauthorized access.
