About the customer

Located in the heart of the Netherlands, Haarlem combines a rich history with contemporary dynamism. Known for its quaint streets, historic architecture and vibrant community, Haarlem remains a center of innovation and progress.

About the project

As a modern city with a focus on security and efficiency, the Municipality of Haarlem sought advanced solutions to manage access control and strengthen overall security.

The solution

The iLOQ S50 mobile access solution was successfully implemented throughout the municipality, specifically to downtown bollard installations. Looking ahead, 10 new electrical cabinets will be fitted with iLOQ battery-free cylinders and they will be included in the specifications of future cabinet purchases.

In addition, the first bridge in Haarlem, the Catharijne Bridge, will be fitted with iLOQ cylinders to provide access to technical areas and bridge controls.

This advanced access control solution not only provides a highly secure environment, but also optimizes the management of crucial city facilities. The flexibility, robustness and durability of the iLOQ S50 have contributed to seamless integration with the city infrastructure, allowing the Municipality of Haarlem to maintain control over access points and strengthen the security of public spaces.
