Advanced encryption and data protection
Multiple layers of encryption and data protection are needed to ensure the highest levels of security in access control solutions.
Data is initially encrypted at the client side before transmission, ensuring that sensitive information is protected from interception. AWS provides server-side encryption for stored data, using strong encryption algorithms to protect data at rest. And iLOQ is responsible for the security of the customer data hosted within the cloud environment and implements encryption, access controls, and monitoring. AES-256 encryption, a globally recognized standard for secure data transmission, ensures that all communications between the lock and the management system are protected from interception and unauthorized access.
We also manage the security of our software, applications, and identity and access control solutions to ensure they are protected against threats. With iLOQ’s cloud-based SaaS platform, each customer’s data is stored in separate, customer-specific databases, ensuring complete data isolation and preventing unauthorized data access.
Finallly, all data in transit between iLOQ services and customers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. This ensures the integrity and confidentiality of data communications.
