The Internationalization Awards of the President of the Republic for iLOQ
President Sauli Niinistö grants the award for international success based on expertise developed in Finland. The Internationalization Award 2017 is granted annually on the recommendation of the Board of Directors of Team Finland.
“All of the award winners share a strong will to develop both business operations and themselves and, in this manner, to promote Finnish business life in both difficult and better times. This requires courage and hard work, but as we can see, taking such risk bears fruit,” says Markus Suomi, Finpro’s CEO and member of Team Finland’s Board of Directors.
“Ten years ago, we introduced the world’s first and still the only self-powered electronic locking system which harvests the needed energy from the key insertion. With new products, we have been able to solidify our position as the pioneer in self-powered locking in the world, which has been one of the cornerstones for our growth.
