iLOQ – overcoming challenges with smart and sustainable solutions

In 2020 and 2021, the world itself and society on a global scale faced unprecedented challenges.

And, as if this wasn’t enough, we were then thrown another curveball in the form of COVID-19 – a real and present danger on a global scale.
Acting sustainably is the key to solving a lot of these issues. As far back as 1987, a United Nations report defined sustainable development as: the human ability to ensure that the current development meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
For iLOQ, acting sustainably means innovating products and services that reduce the use of natural resources, choosing suppliers who share the same values, and transporting goods to our customers with as little harm as possible to the environment.
iLOQ is proud to be leading the way in developing battery- and cable-free digital services, mobile solutions and software that are unlocking society’s demands for not only more sustainable, but more secure and smart living. Expo 2020 Dubai and, in particular, the Finland pavilion – Snow Cape – is a fantastic place to showcase these solutions.
The main theme of the Snow Cape is ‘Sharing Future Happiness’. Finnish happiness is based on the symbiosis of people, nature and technology. The pavilion takes visitors on a journey through Finland’s key strengths – nature and sustainability, education and know-how and functionality and wellbeing – and immerses them in a wide range digital wonders.

Integration is also key to providing smarter and more sustainable living and working environments. And, once again, the Finland pavilion is the perfect place to showcase our industry-leading solutions alongside fellow Dubai Expo partner and global leader in the elevator and escalator industry – KONE.
