Ensuring our leaders have the skills they need to succeed

Strong leadership is the key to the success of any organization. It’s not only about inspiring and motivating people to achieve a common goal, but also about creating a positive work culture that encourages growth and development.

iLOQ has been growing extremely quickly and new people are continually jumping on board. To ensure that we maintain our excellent work culture based on our values and keep the feeling of being part of the iLOQ Family, we have taken steps to ensure our ‘leaders’ perform effectively and unlock their full potential.

This year, we have provided our leaders with tools and individual coaching to enhance their self-awareness and assist in creating personal development plans. This process began with a personality and natural behavior assessment tool, followed by 360-degree feedback from their colleagues. This comprehensive approach ensures our leaders receive well-rounded support that not only highlights their strengths but also offers actionable insights for continuous growth and improvement.

Another exciting initiative was bringing iLOQ leaders from across the globe together in Finland to co-create a shared vision of our values, leadership, and company culture. We identified the core elements of our culture – innovation, entrepreneurship, and a people-oriented approach – as being essential for our success. Valuable discussions were held on customer centricity and how to scale while maintaining transparent communication and balancing autonomy with structure.

These are not easy challenges, but together we are shaping the future and finding solutions. We are committed to ongoing investment in these areas and creating opportunities for leaders to reflect, learn, and collaborate. The ultimate responsibility for setting, nurturing, and maintaining the culture of a company comes from the CEO.
