iLOQ S5 access management system for KymiRing GP track
iLOQ has had an interesting collaboration in relation the newly completed KymiRing – the only MotoGP track in Northern Europe. Certego was responsible for the locking contract of the track, while the digital iLOQ S5, which keeps pace with the changing needs of a fast-paced customer, was selected as the locking and access management solution.
KymiRing, which meets the safety and track requirements of world-class drivers, has been described, already after its short first season, as one of the best in the world. However, the exceptional year has also had an impact on fans of motorsports. The Finnish MotoGP™ event, part of the World Championships in track motorcycling, has been delayed by a year.
“The iLOQ 5 Series system allows the customer to maintain an accurate overview of access and update keys and access rights remotely, without the need to visit the site. Time limitations enable the cost-effective allocation of access rights for different track shifts,” explains Toni Päivinen, iLOQ’s Finnish Sales Director.
iLOQ plans to bring its brand ambassador Kimi Räikkönen to KymiRing for a customer, partner and stakeholder event to be held later in 2021.
“We provide the customer with a turnkey service. For example, we program new keys and update access rights according to customer needs. The iLOQ S5 access management solution brings the customer with a trouble-free solution that, at the same time, improves the security level of the track and entire site. Different users can access the track and site smoothly at defined times without the constant need for an on-call service at the site or worry about returning the keys,” states Esa Valtonen, Sales Manager at Certego.
