iLOQ is a Member of the Singapore Green Building Council
iLOQ is now a Member of the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC), the only non-profit organization in Singapore with a concerted private-public sector partnership to achieve a greener, healthier and more sustainable built-environment.
iLOQ joins more than 420 organizations from across the building and construction value chain as a Member of the SGBC, including property developers, real estate owners, architects, building consultants, engineers, solutions providers, government agencies and the academia. SGBC Members regularly come together to forge meaningful industry and community connections, catalyzed by SGBC’s unique position in the green building value chain and access to key global resources to further any sustainability conversation.
Sustainability is an integral part of iLOQ’s strategy. And, as a ‘born-digital’ company, iLOQ takes great pride in the fact that its entire existence is rooted in designing and distributing digital access management solutions, which by nature, save resources.
iLOQ’s smart-locking solutions harvest the energy required to recognize access rights and open locks from the kinetic movement of inserting their digital key into the lock or from the NFC induction of a smartphone. During the lifecycle of iLOQ’s battery-free solutions (and compared to battery-powered smart locks), the use of 210 million batteries is eliminated and 4.8 million kg hazardous waste avoided. Being virtually maintenance-free also reduces the travel-related environmental impact of regular on-site maintenance visits.
As well as being the ideal solution to enhance sustainability and the user experience in new builds, iLOQ also offers fast, green and smart retrofitting for existing Singaporean premises.
