iLOQ involved in the new H building construction project

The iLOQ 5 Series digital locking and access control solution will be installed in Vaasa Hospital District’s new H building.
The new H building will be built in connection with the Vaasa Central Hospital in Hietalahti. The area of the H building will be approximately 37,000 square meters. The building will have 10 floors and an additional technical space. A safe environment and healthy facilities will be built for the hospital’s customers and staff.
When completed, the H building will be an intelligent hospital with modern and high-quality facilities, a cost-effective lifecycle and the capacity to utilize future technology.
“iLOQ solutions allow us to better maintain the safety of hospital customers and staff and enable flexible access management in different situations. For example, iLOQ’s access management system allows you to remotely delete unreturned keys, keeping your system’s security up to date. In addition, the system offers the possibility to use other tags in addition to the keys,” explains Timo Koivisto from the Vaasa Hospital District.
“Important issues were the convenience of managing the entire system from one software, the benefits it offers in terms of usability and cost-effectiveness, as well as the possibilities for integration with external systems,” Mr Koivisto continues.

The role of the Vaasa Hospital District is to arrange special medical care services for its population. The district consists of bilingual Swedish-speaking and Finnish-speaking municipalities in the coastal area of Ostrobothnia.
